Independent Instruction
WritingKey™ is an excellent resource for any homeschooled student. Students can watch a video lesson as their writing class, and then move straight into the practice of that concept as homework. The lessons are so straightforward and easy to understand, often students are able to move through more than one lesson per day. It completely streamlines instruction on the writing process itself and allows students to be able to use the method for more complex writing assignments across all other subjects in a very short amount of time.
Parent Instruction
WritingKey™ is an excellent resource for homeschooling parents. Parents who homeschool their children can use the WritingKey™ program as a roadmap that provides them with the framework for how they can structure their own day-to-day writing instruction in the classroom. Homeschooling parents can watch the videos themselves and use what they watched to plan the next day’s writing lesson. The process outlined in the WritingKey™ program will of course be the same, but the individual delivery will be able to be tailored to the language they feel may better communicate to the students they know best: their own children!
Parents can use the WritingKey™ method with a frequency of their choice depending upon how quickly students master each new aspect of the writing process. Students who require more practice between each lesson can be paced through the program over a greater length of time, allowing them as much time as is needed in order to move forward as a stronger writer. However, those who require less practice of new concepts can move through the entire program more quickly, allowing them to apply the method to their writing across subjects.
